Not much happened today. I went to work. I visited with Mom. Her Lorazepam seems to be working. What one of the staff is recommending is to just give Mom the .5 mg dose every morning just to keep the edge off. Because once she starts looping and getting agitated, it’s near impossible to get her to take any type of medicine, let alone something that will help to break the looping. The staff will talk to the Hospice representative next time she’s in to see if the Hospice doctor can change the prescription to “every day” instead of “as needed”.
